Cameron Porter

Cameron Porter is a dedicated multi sport athlete who brings a calm, thoughtful presence to every team he joins. Currently a high school student athlete, Cameron has competed in soccer, volleyball, and diving, giving him a strong foundation in body control, focus, and discipline. His passion for volleyball took off early when he earned a spot on his varsity team as a freshman. Since then, he has continued to elevate his game by competing with Maryland Juniors at the club level, training and playing alongside top athletes from across the region.

Cameron also enjoys mentoring younger athletes and has hands on coaching experience through his local pool’s diving program, where he has helped new divers build confidence and learn technique. His patience, consistency, and positive attitude make him a natural fit for working with kids in a supportive learning environment.

Outside of sports, Cameron is dual enrolled at Montgomery College while still in high school, demonstrating the same drive academically that he brings to the court. When he’s not studying or playing, he loves spending time with his three dogs and hanging out with his family.

Whether teaching fundamentals or encouraging young players during drills, Cameron brings steady leadership and a genuine passion for helping kids discover the joy of volleyball.
