Julia Mosconi

Julia Mosconi brings over 20 years of volleyball experience to Volleyball Academy, having played the game across multiple positions including middle blocker, left side, and setter. Her deep understanding of the sport allows her to connect with athletes at every level while helping them build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the game.

Off the court, Julia works in higher education and the nonprofit sector, where her passion for mentorship and community-building shines through. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, she proudly considers herself a die-hard Wisconsin fan and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before earning her graduate degree from George Washington University. Now based in Silver Spring, Julia shares her home with her fiancé, two cats—Goose and Mailata—and a chinchilla named Jojo. She’s excited to bring her experience, energy, and enthusiasm to the next generation of Volleyball Academy athletes.
