Dileep Hopanna

Coach Dileep brings more than 18 years of volleyball experience to the court, but what truly sets him apart is his heart for kids and his commitment to creating a positive, growth-focused environment. Born in India and now raising two daughters who also love the sport, Dileep understands how powerful volleyball can be—not just as a game, but as a tool for confidence, teamwork, and lifelong learning.

He’s played at the competitive BBB level as both an outside hitter and a middle blocker, known for his court awareness and versatility. But today, Dileep’s greatest joy comes from sharing what he’s learned with the next generation of players—whether it’s a first-time 8-year-old or a high school athlete preparing for tryouts.
