Giulia
Area Director
Giulia Taraszkiewicz is the Montgomery County Area Director for Volleyball Academy. Born in Italy, Giulia has had a lifelong passion for volleyball and continues to play more than 40 years after first stepping on the court. She competed as an outside hitter and middle blocker for Alba Volley near Florence (now Pallavolo Bacci) from U10 through 1st Division.
In addition to her volleyball background, Giulia brings years of experience in marketing and business, which she enjoys combining with her passion for youth sports. She lives in Columbia, Maryland with her husband, two children, and two cats, Lupo and Link. Giulia is excited to support families and players across Howard County through the game she loves.

About
Volleyball Academy
Volleyball Academy is built for families who see volleyball as a fun recreational activity and an entrance door to keep children active. Programs are created to offer a well-rounded approach to volleyball training by progressively developing skills and incorporating physical literacy with less pressure. Volleyball Academy develops physical competence so that.
All children can move efficiently, effectively, and safely, and understand what they are doing.
